Web design. How often have I gone through the motions of creating a site (very simple things) with a promise from instructors that "we will post this online."
We never did. I think I've worked with web design three times only to have a nice page, but nothing "live."
This was different. This was simple to do, sort of thanks to a program I've used before called NVU. This program worked well to create my page. I'm very pleased with it, except that my awesome background image didn't load with it. I don't know why that didn't work, but since I didn't have the time to play around, I didn't fix it. Although, I have an idea...
I've never used an FTP program before. I chose Firezilla to use and once I changed the settings, it worked like a dream (except for the image). I'm very pleased to have done this and now I have a web space...scary (though I've had Xanga, this blog, and FB).
