FINALLY. I decided to check out my listservs and a few interesting things passed my way (well, I was checking the last three days, everything else, gone because I can't read 2000+ messages).

One is a new search engine of sorts. I'm going to show this to the Philosopher Musician to see if he can help me understand it because it seems to me a very academic, visual search. Not sure, but it passed by my way and thought I'd share: Wolframalpha

And if you are on Ning, like joining the groups (I'm on Ning but never seemed to understand it as it's supposed to be the reverse of Facebook, but is not quite as nice to work with), you can join this one as it is for those who like to read: http://wickbrary.ning.com/

And from my Twitter Feed (which is actually quite useful) a blog entry about "How to Verify a Tweet" It is very interesting and where news flies at breakneck speed on Twitter, this is very useful. And it seems the discussion in the comments is quite worthwhile as well.
